Opis
Volunteer will be mainly in our central youth center that just recently opened the door and also helping with bigger projects and events of Mladi zmaji. All the activities are carried out mostly in afternoon and evening hours and also on the weekends. Help with organization of traditional and new events (cultural, sports, artistic, wellbeing …), plan and implement weekly and weekend programme in youth centres, prepare and carry out youth initiatives and projects, talk, youngsters speaking socialise and discuss with practicing and (the goal is English language broadening horizons), present his/her own culture, traditions and language to young people in youth centres, contribute to different project management tasks, help to maintain youth center a safe and clean space, develop promo material and administrative work, help manage social media by providing good quality content. Nastanitev, prehrana in prevoz
Accomodation is fully covered. The volunteer will either have a single bed room or he/she will share a two single bed room. Kitchen and bathroom are shared with other volunteers or students. For food and pocket money volunteer receives 380€. Public transport is covered as is travel from and to the project. Insurance is fully covered.
Usposabljanje med dejavnostjo
You will be part of the ESC training cycle: 1. predeparture training organised by your sending organisation or National agency in your country, 2. on-arrival traning and 3. mid-term evaluation organised by Slovenian National Agency in Slovenia.
Profil udeleženca
Motivation to work with young people, educational and social skills, to be able to work with different target groups, good knowledge of English language, good communication skills, proactive attitude to be able approach and motivate young people and create activities and projects of your own, teamwork abilities, open-mindedness and empathy, enthusiasm about learning new skills in different fields of work, adaptability to a wide range of tasks and to busy working days, interest or experience in wellbeing activities (e.g. yoga, pilates, breathing techniques, somatic practices) is a plus
