The youth service (Le Spot) is a service managed by the city of Igny (local authority). Le Spot is made of 2 structures :The youth information point informs and supports young people aged 11 to 25 years old on every topic that concern them : job, studies, professional integration, daily life, European and international mobility...The youth area, from 11 to 17 years old, offers playful activities, free reception, and helps them set up projects of all kinds. The youth structure promotes the civic involvement of young people by supporting them and funding their initiatives through a grant. These projects can take place in Europe and Internationally: solidarity, humanitarian, sustainable development, strengthening or language discovery or strenghtening. The Spot wants to develop and educate young people about eco-citizen actions : animation of group workshops in the permaculture garden at the college, recycling and transformation of objects, creation of games on sustainable dev.

The city provides furnished accommodation with all the necessary amenities : shops, pharmaco, RER C ET B, Bus. The volunteer will be hosted in a 45 m² independent apartment located only 300 meters far from the organisation, and from the train station to downtown Paris.

The volunteer will participate in various workshops or trainings with the city and the Partner : Fédération of MJC FLERS, Normandie.

The volunteer will want to get involved with the young public in order to participate in animation, information, and support times and will be sensitive to issue of sustainable development as well as the protection of nature. She/He should like to work in a team and to have a MANDATORY B1 LEVEL OF FRENCH LANGUAGE.
