We’re looking for the last few motivated volunteers to join a hands-on team effort to help clear out an old monumental building in preparation for its renovation, as well helping us prepare the place for a cultural exhibition (Dutch Design Week) that lasts in the second half of October. Period is middle of September and lasts 59 days maximum. What’s involved: Preparing an old monumental building from WW II for renovation Helping out with the preparations of BioArt Laboratories' exposition for the Dutch Design Week, an international design festival. Requirements: Physically able and ready to get your hands dirty Reliable and a good team player No prior experience needed — just enthusiasm! Be part of preserving a piece of history while gaining hands-on experience in renovation and helping out at an international exhibition place.
Logi, mat och transporter
The accommodation is at BioArt Village, a beautiful location surrounded by a forest inside the city of Eindhoven. The place is off-grid, fulfilling basic needs, and participants must approach this with a non-wasteful mindset. Common areas include the living room, kitchen, shower and toilets. In addition to pocket money, you also receive food money, so basic cooking skills are necessary.
Utbildning under verksamheten
No specific experience is needed—just a love of living in an offgrid, forest environment, a willingness to work physically, and an open mindset. You’ll gain practical experience and learn about preparing old buildings for renovation, and contribute to a meaningful project.
Deltagarens profil
We’re especially looking for volunteers who are curious about practical work, and can thrive in a team while also being self-reliant. Resilience, motivation, and a positive attitude are essential. We warmly welcome applicants with fewer opportunities, and we ask that all participants are in good mental and physical health, and are able to commit to a stay of at least 15 days.
