VSC 25 - Volunteering for Sustainable Communities aims to bring together volunteers from different communities and with their help to promote volunteering and non-formal education as tools to build stronger and sustainable communities in rural areas from North of Romania. Topics we will address: digital wellbeing (online stereotyping, mental health & digital pressure, real & virtual self image, boundaries & safety in digital world), health issues (healthy body, mental health, first aid), critical thinking, fake news, digital tools &AI, environment & sustainability, personal development, outdoor education, sports, social problems, domestic violence, gender violence & bullying. We are also interested in research in the social field, in rural Romania.
Nastanitev, prehrana in prevoz
Accommodation is provided in 3 bedroom apartments, with all needed utilities.
Usposabljanje med dejavnostjo
Trainings provided by Greentin: introductory on arrival training, personal development workshops, teambuilding activities. Trainings provided by Romanian National Agency: on arrival training, mid-term meeting
Profil udeleženca
Interested in achieving experience in educational or social field, working with children and rural communities; conversation level in English; flexible mindset; adaptable; proactive. It is considered an advantage: video editing skills, social media skills, driving license, interest or experience in academic social research.
