EUROSUD is offering a series of volunteering activities aiming to engage young people in social change. The project will bring together volunteers from different countries to work with the hosting organisation of EUROSUD in Triggiano, Italy, on a variety of projects. Besides helping with the hosting organisation’s activities, the volunteers will have a chance to tightly integrate with the community by helping the staff chef instructors and local staff to prepare meals for homeless and disadvantaged people, and organise events such as debates, concerts, shows, dance seminars , cooking lessons. They will also get a chance to work at The Bike Project which is a great way to learn more about cycling and bike repair and also help kids with specific learning disorders within the context of the PLEIADI association.
Nastanitev, prehrana in prevoz
Volunteers will be hosted in apartment with two/three rooms and single bed per room, located in Triggiano city center. Travel reimbursement, food and pocket money are provided up to the EU guideliness limits.
Usposabljanje med dejavnostjo
Volunteers will be engaged for about 30 hours per week. Some weeks will require a higher workload than others, especially during school holidays when many activities are being run for the local youth. The usual volunteering days of the participants will be Monday to Friday. Saturdays and Sundays will be kept as the free days for the volunteer. In periods of heavy workload or implementations of summer camps or other intensive projects, it may be that the volunteers will be asked to participate and support activities during the weekends. In that case, they will receive two free days next week.

This ESC is open to al l young people between 18 - 30 years old. Interested in this project’s themes; Strong grasp of the English language; Be a good communicator, have responsibility and proactivity and be interested in the European Solidarity Corps programme and so recognize the value of being part of a project like this one; Considering young people with fewer opportunities.
