Pocket money 4 euros per day. Food money 10 euros per day. In the European Solidarity Corps (ESC) programme, travel costs for volunteers are reimbursed based on the distance between the volunteer's place of residence and the project location. The reimbursement follows the distance bands set by the European Commission and is calculated using the official ESC distance calculator. Volunteers initially pay for their travel expenses and are reimbursed by the supporting or hosting organization upon presentation of valid travel documents (e.g. tickets, boarding passes, receipts).
