Kuvaus

This volunteering project offers young people the opportunity to engage in solidarity activities that foster personal growth, intercultural learning, and community impact. We are looking for volunteers with at least a basic level of Spanish, who will organize art workshops and English clubs for children, as well as activities related to environmental awareness and supporting the elderly. Any proposal for new workshops or initiatives is warmly welcomed. Volunteers must also have knowledge of digital tools and social media, as they will support daily office tasks and help manage online communication. Knowledge of Spanish and artistic skills will be considered an asset. This experience is designed to empower participants, support their development, and create long-lasting positive changes for both them and the hosting community.

Majoitus, ateriat ja kuljetukset

Participants will be accommodated in shared flat located in the city center, close to the workplace. Each volunteer will have a single room. The apartments are fully equipped to ensure a comfortable stay. Volunteers will receive a monthly allowance consisting of pocket money and food support to cover personal expenses, meals, and daily needs. Vilagarcía de Arousa is a small city where local transport is generally not needed. However, transportation can be provided if the volunteer requires it.

Koulutus hankkeen aikana

Throughout the project, volunteers will receive continuous mentoring and guidance to support their personal and professional growth. They will take part in specific trainings designed to provide the skills and knowledge needed for their tasks and to ensure a meaningful learning experience. This support will help them develop key competences, gain confidence in their work, and make the most of their volunteering journey.

Osallistujan profiili

We’re looking for enthusiastic young people (18–30) who want to be part of a meaningful experience, contribute to the local community, and share daily life in an intercultural environment. Volunteers should have at least a basic level of Spanish and be ready to organize art activities and English clubs for children, as well as initiatives related to environmental awareness and supporting the elderly. You don’t need specific experience — what matters most is your curiosity to learn, your commitment, and your willingness to get involved with others. We especially value creativity and the ability to work independently. Any proposal for new workshops or activities — whether related to art, culture, sports, or other areas you are passionate about — is warmly welcomed. Volunteers should also have basic knowledge of digital tools and social media, as these will be useful for promoting activities and supporting communication tasks. You’ll receive training and mentoring to help you grow, develop new skills, and make the most of your time here. We value open-mindedness, initiative, and an interest in topics like inclusion, diversity, sustainability, and active citizenship. Together, we can create spaces that encourage creativity, well-being, and stronger community connections, while living the European values of respect, equality, and solidarity. Please take your time to fill the application personally.
