Individual Volunteering in Arousa Moza 2026
Asociación Arousa Moza
Vilagarcía de Arousa, Španielsko
Opis
This volunteering project offers young people solidarity activities that foster personal growth, intercultural learning and community impact in Vilagarcía de Arousa (Galicia). We are looking for volunteers with at least basic Spanish to support our youth work: emotional wellbeing circles and non-formal education workshops in local secondary schools, art and English activities for children and teenagers, and environmental actions to protect our coast and water. Volunteers will also help prepare the international youth exchanges hosted by Asociación Arousa Moza and community events such as our solidarity race for Ukraine. New workshop ideas are warmly welcomed. Volunteers must know digital tools and social media, as they will support office tasks and our online communication. Artistic skills and experience with young people are an asset. This experience aims to empower participants and create lasting positive change for them and the hosting community.
Ubytovanie, strava a doprava
Participants will be accommodated in shared flat located in the city center, close to the workplace. Each volunteer will have a single room. The apartments are fully equipped to ensure a comfortable stay. Volunteers will receive a monthly allowance consisting of pocket money and food support to cover personal expenses, meals, and daily needs. Vilagarcía de Arousa is a small city where local transport is generally not needed. However, transportation can be provided if the volunteer requires it.
Odborná príprava počas činnosti
Throughout the project, volunteers will receive continuous mentoring and guidance to support their personal and professional growth. They will take part in specific trainings designed to provide the skills and knowledge needed for their tasks and to ensure a meaningful learning experience. This support will help them develop key competences, gain confidence in their work, and make the most of their volunteering journey.
Profil účastníka
We are looking for young people (18-30) with at least a basic level of Spanish who want to live and volunteer in Vilagarcía de Arousa. You will work with children and teenagers: art activities, English clubs, workshops in secondary schools and environmental activities.
Any background is welcome, as long as you bring your own ideas for workshops and activities that we can run with children and young people. In your application, please send us one or two proposals: what you would do, for which age group and what participants would learn or make.
An artistic or graphic design background (illustration, posters, social media design, photography or video) is a plus, as you can also help us with our communication. Basic knowledge of digital tools and social media is required. No previous work experience is needed, but you should be creative and able to work independently.
Please fill in the application yourself.
