EU.Motion 20.26 is a project by Associação Mais Cidadania, that aims to address two specific problems: - low participation rates of young people in decision-making processes; - cultural integration and social exclusion. Therefore, the project will develop activities connected with Citizenship, Participation, and Cultural Diversity. With that in mind, we are looking for a motivated volunteer to join our office team for 8 months, taking an active role in the field of communication and digital media. The selected person will be fully involved in the organization’s daily life and all dimensions of AMC’s work. Their main focus will be on managing and creating digital content for our social media platforms (especially Facebook and Instagram), developing and implementing communication strategies for AMC’s projects, and designing promotional materials that reflect the organization’s identity. The volunteer will play a key role in shaping AMC’s online presence.
Nastanitev, prehrana in prevoz
As established by the European Solidarity Corps, all volunteers have the right to accommodation, shared with other volunteers, pocket money and food allowance, as well as transportation. At the beginning of each month, the volunteer will receive the pocket money in cash and, 5 to 7 days later, the food allowance. Besides this, they will also acquire a monthly pass, allowing them to use all the public means of transportation (metro, train, tramway, and bus).
Usposabljanje med dejavnostjo
The volunteer will take part in all activities foreseen in the Volunteering Training and Evaluation Cycle in the Hosting Country and, in the Volunteering meetings proposed by the Sending Organisation and/or National Agencies.
Profil udeleženca
The volunteer should be someone: - highly motivated and proactive, with a strong background in digital communication; - with experience in social media management, content creation, and video editing, and a genuine passion for storytelling; - creative, flexible, and well-organized, able to adapt quickly to new challenges and environments; - enthusiastic about living and working in a multicultural and cooperative setting; - confident communicating and working in English, and open to learning Portuguese; - eager to learn more about AMC’s work within the Non-Profit sector and contribute actively to its projects; - willing to share ideas, skills, and personal interests with other young people, both online and offline.
