Beskrivelse
The aim is raising awareness and interest of the local community on sustainable tourism with the help of international volunteers. The work that the volunteers will do will consist of the following but not limited to: - sociological research in the community - the volunteers will use the knowledge and skills gained before in the internal trainings to collect stories, legends, recipes, information etc - gathering audio/video/photo/written material from around the area - creating and mapping hike and bike trails that would include local produces, places to see, community kitchen etc - organizing intercultural events in which they will present their own cultures to the locals. - putting together the material, edit the videos, photo and text materials and adding them on the webpages - design and launch promotional campaigns and materials using the results created already - events on launching different materials- presenting their work. - give a hand to tasks around.
Logi, mad og transport
- reimbursement of travel costs up to 211/309/395 euro (according to distance) in the end of the stay - green travel costs available as well - accommodation in a traditional house in our community together with the rest of the volunteers - food allowance and pocket money - local transport bus permits and car when needed for activities, sim cards with mobile data, medical insurance etc
Oplæring under aktiviteten
As a volunteer in our projects you will receive a variety of trainings and support such as: - mentor support - language training - coordination, materials for activities and equipment - task-related trainings such as teambuilding, health and security, event management, basic youthwork and group dynamics, communication, basics of research etc
Deltagerens profil
- is between 18 and 30 years old - is available for the full months of the mobility - is motivated to do international volunteering - is strongly motivated to live and work in rural area - is interested in learning a different European language - is motivated to promote rural heritage and sustainable values and behaviours - is motivated to develop new competences and to learn about community development - has at least basic English communication skills, spoken and written
