Digital Media & Content Creation
EVROPAIKO ETHELONTIKO KAI EKPAIDEFTIKO KENTRO
Athens, Grekland
Beskrivning
EVEC Athens is seeking one motivated Greek volunteer, from anywhere in Greece, to join a national youth initiative focused on microgreens, healthy eating, and urban sustainability. This is a strictly long-term volunteering opportunity with a fixed duration of 12 months. Applications for periods shorter than 12 months will not be considered. The volunteer will support digital media and content creation, helping us communicate our activities to young people across Greece. Tasks include creating short videos, reels, photos, and simple graphics for Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook, documenting workshops and events, and presenting the weekly microgreens cultivation process. Basic support for website content may also be included. The volunteer will work in a supportive international team, gain hands-on experience, develop digital and creative skills, and contribute to a meaningful environmental project with real social impact.
Logi, mat och transporter
Volunteers are hosted in a fully equipped 100m² apartment with three bedrooms, a large shared living room, kitchen, and bathroom. The flat accommodates four volunteers in total. Monthly food and pocket money amount to 420 EUR, which also includes an allowance for local transportation. Since the EVEC office is only a 15-minute walk from the apartment, volunteers may choose whether they want to use public transport or not.
Utbildning under verksamheten
Volunteers receive introductory training on microgreens cultivation, content creation standards, safety, ESC procedures, and EVEC’s communication strategy. Ongoing mentoring is provided in video production, photography, social media management, and basic graphic design. Volunteers participate in weekly team meetings, skill-building sessions, and practical workshops to develop their creative, digital, and organizational abilities throughout the placement.
