WE ONLY ACCEPT APPLICATIONS THROUGH OUR FORM: https://forms.gle/7YtKnW99qBmnT8jQA In Leipzig, we have an opening for ESC volunteering in a kindergarten. All kindergartens belong to the BBW Leipzig Hören-Sprache-Kommunikation (BBW) and differ in their thematic focus and their size. Some have smaller groups and some have bigger groups. For March 2026 we search volunteers for BBW "Wilmar-Schwabe-Str." (sports, gardening, inclusive education and integration). The volunteer will work in a group with children between 3 and 7 year, supports the workers in their daily routines with the kids e.g. preparation of meals, playing & watch out for the kids playing outside, accompany the children to their activities, will get to know a pedagogic insight into the openwork concept of the institution. This means that children have often a lot of freedom and independence in shaping their day. He/she/They shall actively enter aspects of his/her/their culture into the daily life with kids.

You will live together with other volunteers in a shared flat, with your own single bedroom. Furthermore, you will receive food- & pocket money as well as a ticket for public transportation in Leipzig. During the ESC: the volunteer receives a basic language training of some kind (not always an official course), also other training needed to carry out agreed tasks and the volunteer attend the On-Arrival training and Mid-term seminar offered by NA. -Interest in working with children in a kindergarten -depending on the profile of the kindergarten: being creative & imaginative / language requirements in those kindergartens with bilingual profile / open-minded and communicative behavior -some basic knowledge in German language is a plus
