Opis
The purpose of the activity is to create and work with at least two Eco School clubs in Smiltene district. The purpose of the activity is providing support and encouragement to live climate-responsibly and sustainably and popularize Permaculture and its Ethics. Volunteers will learn about permaculture, its ethics and principles, they will regularly organize the meetings, projects and events of eco-clubs. Volunteers will inform the society about these activities - creating publications in media and social networks. The volunteers will organize a one-day event for other ESC volunteers currently in Latvia, with the aim of popularizing permaculture and will participate in the ESC Volunteerrin Teams project in June 2026 - prepare and conduct the Permaculture Festival for Youth.

The accommodation is located near the Smiltene city center, and all activity areas are easily accessible by local bus. The accommodation, food and program costs are covered by Erasmus+ program. Your traveling costs could be covered, but please contact us about amount!
Usposabljanje med dejavnostjo
Volunteers will learn and share knowledge and experience in implementing the principles of environmental protection and sustainable economy in everyday life. They will also participate in the development and implementation of the Permaculture Festival program. There is an opportunity to get to know local traditions by participating in free time activities.
