Opis
The One cooperative aims to contribute to the socio-cultural and economic improvement of the area in which it operates through various initiatives: language and job training, innovative workshops for minors, activities to combat educational poverty, promotion of the local area, non-hotel hospitality, and the dissemination of a new concept of economy. It invests in young people while also supporting adults. The volunteers will help with the management of the hostel which will include: renovational activities and taking care of open spaces. They will also participate in activities in a farm and learn how to cook with local products, activities with migrants and an organisation that provide food for people in need, they will know the local newspaper and create contents for social media. There will also be the opportunity to participate in comics workshops, local dance classes & exchange of traditions.
Nastanitev, prehrana in prevoz
Pocket money: 17€ per day (the traveling expenses are included in this total sum - please, save all your tickets and boarding passes). Accomodation: will be provided inside the hostel managed by the organisation, inside a double/triple rooms shared with other volunteers with inner bathroom. Food: will be prepared by the volunteers and shared with the staff during the activities.
Usposabljanje med dejavnostjo
On arrival training: first 7 days - organized by the coordinating organization Associazione Joint. Mid-term evaluation filling a form. Final evaluation with Youhpass Certificate - 2 days
Profil udeleženca
The profile of an ideal volunteer is: MUST be aged between 18 and 30 MUST be resident or citizen of an EU country (included Italy). Available for the whole period of the project (22/03/26 - 22/05/26). Has experience in video-making or youth work OR unemployed more than a year / from rural areas / disadvantaged economic situation. The volunteer should love open-air activities, who loves to work in a group and contact with the public; ready to do manual work and get their hands dirty; is a curious person, open minded, creative, ready to work with young people and hostel guests. Open to propose workshops in relation of their interest and if possible some knowledge of video editing. Please send your cv in english.
