Volunteering Duration: 61 Days (23/03/2026 – 22/05/2026) Work Subjects: Sports, Healthy Living, Art, Entrepreneurship, Disaster Awareness, Environment, Youth Work Place of Volunteering: Sorgun, Yozgat, Türkiye Within this programme, volunteers will take part in various activities and organise events according to their competencies and skills. They will support the planning and implementation of creative and educational activities for children and young people, helping them discover their interests and talents. Volunteers will also contribute to workshops and awareness activities on disaster preparedness, climate change, healthy lifestyles, and environmental sustainability. Through these activities, they will promote community resilience and active participation. Logi, mat och transporter

Volunteers will stay in a shared apartment in Sorgun with double rooms, bathrooms, and a kitchen. The accommodation is provided by the coordinating organisation SORGED, and volunteers will live together with other ESC volunteers. The apartment will include basic kitchen equipment and internet access. According to ESC and Turkish National Agency rules, volunteers will receive 6 € daily pocket money and 6 € daily food allowance. Travel costs will be reimbursed according to the ESC distance calculator and must be approved before purchasing tickets.

Utbildning under verksamheten

During the opportunity, volunteers will receive both orientation and topic-based trainings. At the beginning, an on-arrival training will be provided to introduce the project, the hosting organisation, safety rules, and local culture. Throughout the project, volunteers will take part in non-formal learning workshops on sports, healthy lifestyle, art, entrepreneurship, disaster management, environment, and youth work. In addition, they will join language support sessions, intercultural learning activities, and skills development trainings.
