Spring to Build – Create an Eco-Place Together!

Our new eco-place is now a reality, so we are looking for motivated youngsters who want to help and learn how to start and set the new bases of an eco-place, how to restore the soil, compost, animal care... and of course, how to live together in harmony with nature. Everything with the intercutural and community learning, by living with 16 volunteers from different countries. And of course, living in a resilient way. What will we do? During these four weeks we will: • Build and improve ecological infrastructures • Develop the garden and plant seasonal crops • Create practical solutions for water and land management • Improve community spaces and living areas • Cook together and experiment with low-impact food And beyond the work itself, we will also share moments of reflection about sustainability, cooperation and simple living.

Volunteers will stay in shared rooms in mobile homes (2 per room) or in individual tents, at our land in Gardie, surrounded by nature. The place uses solar panels electricity, so the use of it must be very consciouss. Volunteers will prepare MAINLY VEGETARIAN food (please, don't expect to eat meat every week!) and low impact food and they will cook in teams, 1 day per week. Volunteers will take turns to keep ALL THE COMMON SPACES clean and tidy. There will be days off to enjoy the area and let volunteers explore and travel around.
Utbildning under verksamheten
This project is mostly to have the help of volunteers for keep working on the new place, and the first steps into planting and putting the seeds (literally and metaphorically). However, they will have the chance to receive/share 2 or 3 workshops about sustainability, climate change, low-impact kitchen, DIY, permaculture, gardening.... activities will be selected soon!! MOTIVATED youngsters who are flexible and are looking for new experiences in rural and simple lifestyle. We are looking for responsible youngsters who are willing to help and support this big transition of creating a new land, with good energy! The activities are going to be mainly outdoors and very physical. Nature, animal and plant lovers. The knowledge about use of tools and machines is a bonus!
