Our project main objectives are the maintenance and protection of autochthones species, improve accessibility of forest paths and increase physical activity in nature surrounding. The interventions will be manly in our pedestrian and cycling routes. We intend, by improving our routes in multiple dimension like, maintenance, presentation, accessibility, comfort and promotion, to increase the number of local users and at the same time promote them national and worldwide. Promoting also a personal, social, educational and professional development of the volunteers. They will also learn how to promote this locations and what kind of events and activities they can accommodate.
Nastanitev, prehrana in prevoz
Volunteers will be staying in an aparthotel were each one of them will have an individual room with AC, TV, internet and private bathrooms, on the 1st floor. They will also have a totally equipped kitchen for cooking, on the ground level floor of the aparthotel. They will receive a financial support for food and pocket money. Each one will have their own bicycle, six of them being electric, and alternative transportation will be provided in case of need.
Usposabljanje med dejavnostjo
Prior to arriving we will present their weekly schedule in virtual meetings and introduce the personnel that will cooperate with us, namely our local partner organizations. Training will be provided on basic life support and the concerns in making activities in the nature/forest. The Nature Protection League will also make a small formation introducing their work and what kind of activities they will do together with the volunteers.
Profil udeleženca
Have an interest in the protection of our forest/environment and the practise of outdoor sport, as well as, knowledge around woodwork and/or forest cleaning. It would be also important that volunteers are aware of some specific needs of the target intervention and have an entrepreneur sense in order to develop and promote different activities. Knowledge of English language are mandatory for participation.
