Opis
The volunteer will support the daily activities of FCV https://www.catalunyavoluntaria.cat/ , with a particular focus on assisting in the preparation of grant applications and the development of local initiatives. Tasks may include research on funding opportunities, drafting and editing project proposals, and helping to structure project ideas as well as tasks related to promotion and social media. In addition, the volunteer will contribute to the preparation and implementation of local activities such as workshops, community events, and youth-oriented initiatives. Depending on their interests and skills, the volunteer may also support communication tasks suches as web design, content creation, or other application of their interests and skills. This opportunity is ideal for someone interested in project management, social impact, and non-formal education, who is motivated to learn and actively contribute to the growth and sustainability of the foundation.
Nastanitev, prehrana in prevoz
🏡 The volunteer will have her own private room in a shared apartment with other women, who are not part of the organisation. 🍽️ A monthly food allowance will be provided together with pocket money, all together equaling 360EUR/month 🚌 Local transport costs will be covered through a monthly public transport card. ✈️ Travel costs to and from the hosting country will be reimbursed according to the ESC distance bands. The office of FCV is located in the center of barcelona, where the volunteer will be participating presencially 5 days a week, 6 hours a day.
Usposabljanje med dejavnostjo
The volunteer will have two trainings organized by the Spanish National Agency regarding ESC volunteering, as well as a pre departure training organized by the sending organisation and on boarding in FCV. The volunteer will have access to Online Learning Platform for Spanish language and to presencial classes of the Catalan language. The philosophy followed during the volunteering is learning by doing and the volunteer will be encouraged to try new tasks, programs and solutions.

-Between 22 and 30 y.o. -Responsible, proactive, flexible, creative. -Interested in project development, social impact, and youth work and willing to learn and to support local and international youth activities. -Up to support grant writing, local activities, and organisational tasks. -Open to work in an intercultural environment. -Communicative in least on of the following languages: Spanish, Catalan, English We expect volunteers to actively uphold a zero-tolerance approach towards discrimination, including racism, sexism, classism, homophobia, transphobia, or any form of exclusion.
