- Increase the social well-being in special communities by helping people in need, especially young people, mild disabilities disadvantaged persons, through daily support activities and promoting participation and social welfare and inclusion. - together with dedicated professional staff, assist in providing educational support, create an inclusive and stimulating environment, promote personal development of people in need, solidarity and human’s rights defence - plan, implement and participate in recreational activities (games, music course /plays, sports activities, theatre, Pet Therapy, and so on); - accompany special need people in their daily routine and recreational activities/laboratories; Spend time with them in different environmental setting, outdoor activities, short trips.... - Accompany and support youth with learning difficulties or psychological support in fragile family situations ; afternoon school support for kids

Socruithe lóistín, bia agus iompair

Travel to Italy and back, accommodation, local transports and food expenses are covered by the project. Local transfers will be mainly within walkable distance, local urban services are available if necessary. The ESC volunteer accomodation is an apartment within the center of Rosà, at a walkable access to every facilities and amenities needed . The ESC will be given a sinlge private room, ensuite bathroom. Kitchen and living areas are common.

Oiliúint le linn na gníomhaíochta

All volunteers will be welcomed by a designated tutor and mentor who will assist in discussing personal skills and defining their mission. Ongoing support will be available throughout the project. Necessary tools and knowledge will be provided ; OLS tool is offered. An intensive Italian language course is mandatory for non-Italian-speaking volunteers during the initial weeks

Próifíl an rannpháirtí

The volunteer is required to be predisposed to interpersonal relations, have an openminded approach and willingness to learn. Adequate qualification is recommended but not a mandatory requirement; the candidate must have the intention to operate within the social sector and to support people with minor opportunity and operate for their human rights. At minimum of B2 level of Italian is a requirement and motivation to improve the Italian language is important, in order to execute the different volunteering tasks and to collaborate with the other team members. Knowledge of English is required. The candidate should be open to support the organization in other tasks which can be proposed by tutor and mentor during the period.
