Looking for a long-term volunteering experience where you can grow, take initiative, and make a real impact? Seeds of Solidarity is an ESC project running for over a decade in rural Hungary. As part of an international team, you will work with children and young people in schools and youth centers, especially those with fewer opportunities. You will design and deliver interactive activities, support community programmes, and teach English through non-formal methods. Your work will have a visible impact — while you gain hands-on experience in youth work and develop your ideas with professional support. You will be involved in both outreach youth work in villages and activities at the Egyesek Youth Center, combining fieldwork with a stable community place 👉 Apply here: https://bit.ly/3PYMgrO 👉 Learn more: https://bit.ly/4rR6eC4
Socruithe lóistín, bia agus iompair
You will live in a shared, fully equipped house in Szécsény together with other international volunteers, creating a supportive living environment. The town offers a calm and safe atmosphere with all basic services, and regular connections to nearby cities and Budapest. Volunteers are actively involved in local events and city programmes, ensuring real participation in community life. Daily travel to activity locations is organised. The project covers accommodation, travel reimbursement, local transport, food allowance, pocket money, and provides continous mentoring and support.
Oiliúint le linn na gníomhaíochta
You will receive a 3-day onboarding training at the beginning of the project to help you settle in and understand your role. Throughout the project, you will take part in regular monthly trainings focusing on youth work, outreach methods, and non-formal education. In addition, you will have the opportunity to join Egyesek trainings and take part in thematic workshops led by external experts (around three occasions), allowing you to deepen your knowledge in specific areas and support your personal and professional development.
Próifíl an rannpháirtí
We are looking for open-minded, easy-going volunteers who enjoy working with children and young people and are willing to learn by doing. You are a good fit if you are flexible, proactive, and comfortable adapting to new situations. Patience, creativity, and a positive attitude are especially important when working with diverse groups, including young people with fewer opportunities. You don’t need to be an expert — motivation, curiosity, and a willingness to engage are what matter most. If you feel connected to this, we encourage you to apply — even if you are not sure you meet every expectation. 👉 https://bit.ly/3PYMgrO
