Beskrivning

Volunteers who will take part in our ESC project will contribute to youth work, project development, and career support activities carried out within our association. By bringing an international perspective to these activities, volunteers will help increase their impact and support reaching a wider group of young people. Volunteers will take an active role five days a week, within a program of approximately 30–35 hours, and will support the processes in line with their knowledge and skills. The main weekly activities in which volunteers will be involved include: - Project development and small-scale social projects - Support in international mobility activities and youth work - Contribution to reporting, documentation, and interview processes - Project dissemination and promotional activities - Volunteering events and alumni network activities - Mentorship and volunteer/alumni meetings - Career talks with volunteers and feedback processes

Logi, mat och transporter

Accommodation will be provided in secure student dormitories owned by our foundation. Entry and exit are monitored, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment for volunteers. Volunteers will stay in shared rooms. Dormitories also include a shared kitchen area where volunteers can prepare their own meals. Food support will be provided either through meals served at the dormitories and/or through a meal allowance. To facilitate participation in activities and mobility within the city, the card for local transportation (valid on all public transportation in Istanbul) will be provided.

Deltagarens profil

We are looking for participants aged 18-30 who are interested in youth work, volunteering, and social impact, and who are willing to contribute to project-based activities. Candidates are expected to have strong communication skills, be open to intercultural learning, and be inclined toward teamwork. It is important that participants are willing to communicate with students and graduates, contribute to community-building processes, and take an active role in mobility activities. Preference will be given to candidates who are experienced in volunteering projects or interested in this field, eager to conduct research and develop projects, and highly motivated to create social impact. Having skills in planning, organization, and basic reporting, as well as an interest in collecting feedback and contributing to improvement processes, is considered an advantage. Additionally, candidates who are proficient in or willing to learn digital tools (such as LinkedIn, Canva, Miro, MS Office, etc.), have strong presentation skills, and can take on a facilitative role in group work will be prioritized.
