Youth Centre Zagorje ob Savi (MC ZOS) is an open, inclusive, and creative community that provides young people a safe space for learning, personal development, and self-expression. Activities are co-created with young people and based on non-formal learning methods. Volunteers are actively involved in all areas of the organisation. Volunteer's tasks: co-creating and delivering non-formal learning activities, developing communication and public speaking skills, learning the basics of project management, creating promotional content (photo, video, graphic design), promoting the ESC programme and non-formal education, implementing a personal project, participating in the daily centre (an open and safe space where young people can spend time, socialise, and connect). Logi, mat och transporter
ACCOMMODATION: Apartment in a youth centre in Zagorje, 3 single bedrooms, the kitchen, terrace and bathroom are shared with other international volunteers, within walking distance to activity venues. FOOD, TRANSPORT AND OTHER ARRANGEMENTS: - travel costs coverred by the regulations of programme ESC - volunteer's pocket money 5€/day, paid on monthly basis - food costs in amount of 196 €/month, money is transferred to the volunteer's bank account WORKING OBLIGATIONS: - 35 working hours/week, 2 days off/week, 2 days holidays/month DURATION: 330 days/volunteer

Deltagarens profil
We are looking for one volunteer (fe_male) for the placement in the youth centre (5 days/week). We are looking for motivated volunteers that have a will for self-growth and contribution to the community. S_he can have a basic knowledge of English. We accept also participants with less oportunities, who are facing different challenges. In this case express your challenges and needs briefly and volunteer might receive an inclusion support. Selection is based on motivation and interest; religion, gender, nationality, or other identity factors are not considered. No specific education or prior knowledge is required.
