Cur síos
ADRA Serbia is humanitarian organization dedicated to reducing poverty and protection of vulnerable people. By partnering with communities and organizations, we can improve the quality of life of Roma people, homeless, and young people leaving care, through our programs in disaster relief, education, economic empowerment, and protection. Psycho-social support, prevention, and protection from gender-based violence is mainstreamed in the projects. Working alongside our logistician, you’ll see how a humanitarian operation runs from the inside. You’ll help shape a new inventory database, co-create a fact-sheet on our support reaching 2,000+ people, take part in donor outreach, and join the team at humanitarian distributions in the field. A learning-by-doing role with real impact for vulnerable communities in Belgrade. Próifíl an rannpháirtí
We’re looking for a curious, people-oriented volunteer who wants to learn how humanitarian operations work from the inside. Empathy and a calm presence at distribution sites matter more than a specific diploma. Apply if you have: strong organisational and communication skills; a practical, problem-solving mindset; comfort with digital tools and basic databases; and ideally some background in management, social sciences or humanitarian work (studies in progress welcome). Diverse backgrounds and abilities encouraged.---- This opportunity follows the ESC 2023 eligibility rules. The 12-month cumulative volunteering limit introduced for projects funded from 2024 onwards does not apply here, so candidates with previous ESC or EVS volunteering experience may still be eligible.----
