Beskrivning
The International Youth Work Camp is a project hosted by International Forum of Solidarity EMMAUS and the activity that brings together young people from different European countries for 14 days in Srebrenica and Doboj, Bosnia and Herzegovina. During the camp, the young people will participate in various volunteering and community support actions, as well as intercultural learning and group activities. Volunteers will also have the opportunity to take part in “Camp Olympics” and the Silver Frame Film Festival on the 16th and 18th of July. Logi, mat och transporter
Our accommodation is located in Potočari and includes sports fields as well as rooms for other sports and various activities. It is situated in Srebrenica, where most of the volunteer activities will take place. Near the accommodation, we also have a special sports and recreational center and a picnic area where various activities are organized. Volunteers share one bathroom for each 4 people, bed linen set, small desk, hair dryer, wardrobe, Internet access, laundry by employees.
Utbildning under verksamheten
During the project the volunteers of this ESC project will meet other volunteers from Scout groups and other countries and fundings. Together they will join a variety of activities and tasks. Flexibility is asked to be given during the days, personal engagement and positive and not-racist attitude is requested.
Deltagarens profil
The project is open to young people aged 18 to 30 who have not yet reached the 12-month limit of ESC volunteering. We welcome applicants who are interested in culture, events, community involvement, and film. No specific educational or professional background is required; enthusiasm and willingness to contribute are the most important requirements. The volunteer group will consist of a minimum of 5 international volunteers.
