For two-weeks, 21/7 - 3/8 2026 the PASSAGE Festival will host a group of approx 15 YA, doing volunteer tasks for the street theatre festival: PASSAGE Festival. The festival takes place in and around Helsingør, Denmark, 27/7 - 1/8 2026. During the first week of the camp the YA will participate in group activities, preparations for the festival and work together on an artistic concept, which will be shown / exhibited at the festival. During the second week the participants will assist in solving volunteer task in connection to the festival: way finding, preparing sites, communication and documentation, handling audience, ticketing, preparing backstage and food etc. The tasks will be handled in accordance with the individual capability and interest, so everyone feels both comfortable and suitably challenged. The group dynamic and well-being of everyone is at focus at all times.
Nastanitev, prehrana in prevoz
All participants of the camp both Danish and internationals will be staying at a hostel together in shared rooms. In the first week the participants will be divided into kitchen teams and make food for each other at the hostel. During the festival week, lunch + dinner is served at the festival headquarters with staff and artists. Breakfast is served at the hostel. International transport should be by means of Green Travel (bus / train). Tickets purchased by participant upon agreement and reimbursed by the organiser. Local travel in DK is arranged by the organiser.
Usposabljanje med dejavnostjo
The camp is a short term, team activity and no formal training will take place. The workshops held during the first week is however an informal training in working through an artistic process and learning to translate research into a concept that can be presented.
Profil udeleženca
We are looking for participants with an interest in theatre, performance, visual art and engagement of public space. Someone who is curious to learn about others, who wants to represent the festival with an open mind and welcoming attitude and who has a desire to create and participate and be part of a team in doing so. You are sharing rooms during some intense two-weeks, so also be mindfull that you are comfortable with that. Festival and Camp language: English Age: 18-26 yrs. by the time of the start. We have a limited number of places. And will set the team as applicants express interest. This call closes Sunday 14/6 2026.
