FUNDACION ALIANZA POR LOS DERECHOS, LA IGUALDAD Y LA SOLIDARIDAD INTERNACIONAL
Kolda, Senegal, Senegāla
Apraksts
Join ActionAid in Kolda, Senegal, for a 2-month humanitarian team volunteering experience focused on gender justice, ecofeminism, communication and international cooperation. As part of a team of 6 volunteers, you will visit projects in Sare Bidji and Medina Yoro Foulah and learn first-hand about ActionAid Senegal’s work with local communities. After the visits, you will work in teams to create short social media videos on ecofeminism and women’s rights, especially economic rights. You will also research the 10 African Feminist Principles and prepare a presentation for ActionAid Senegal and FODDE, helping generate discussion and a reference document for future projects. A hands-on experience combining field visits, research, communication, teamwork and intercultural learning.
Dzīvošana, ēdināšana un transports
You will live with five other volunteers in a shared apartment with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Accommodation and utility costs will be covered by the organization, and a local SIM card will be provided. You will receive a monthly allowance of €468 to cover personal expenses, including food and local transportation. A vehicle will be available for ActionAid activities, and you will be covered by Henner medical insurance.
Mācības pasākuma laikā
Before departure, volunteers will receive training on the ESC program, ActionAid, roles and responsibilities, SHEA and safeguarding, feminist leadership, communication, security, self-care and psychological support.
