Beskrivning
This activity is the result of the collaboration between Paideia Galiza Foundation and the University of A Coruña. In this project the volunteer will carry out most of his/her activities at the Office of Cooperation and Volunteering of the University of A Coruña. The volunteer will support the university team and will participate in the following activities: - Awareness talks on social issues for the university community. - Creation of the material to be used in the talks. - Support in the management of social media, creating contents (videos, posts etc.). - Support for training activities for the university community. - Support in daily office tasks (paperwork) - Frequent visits to the city's children's hospital to accompany children aged 0-3 years (once a week).
Logi, mat och transporter
The volunteer will live in a shared flat with other volunteers. The apartment is fully furnished, it has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room, kitchen and balcony. In the neighbourhood there is a park, beach and all services (supermarkets, bus stop, bank, pharmacy, bars, etc.). It is 20 minutes by bus from the city center and 30 minutes aprox from the University. He/she will have food and transport covered.
Utbildning under verksamheten
The volunteer will take part in two trainings (on-arrival and mid-term training) organized by the National Agency.
Deltagarens profil
We are looking for a proactive person, independent, creative and organized, who enjoys teamwork and the proposed activities. Good knowledge of Spanish, English would be valued.
