Opis
We are looking for 3 young people, who will become part of the volunteering, educational and promotional team in our organization. During the project, volunteers will be helping us with organizing the volunteering, educational and promotional activities in our office. The ESC volunteers will be trained to lead an international volunteer camp - workcamp (2weeks) in Slovakia during summer. They will choose which camp they want to lead: free time activities for seniors, for kids, be part of eco village, reconstruction of castles. They will learn soft skills like leadership, conflict resolution, time management, public speaking, and management of the budget. They will be: * Part of our community * Organising meetings/activities for young people on various topics * Creating educational workshops according to their own initiative and interest, * Promoting volunteering and study themes at schools, *Promoting volunteering and ESC life on social media * Administrative/Office work and many more.
Nastanitev, prehrana in prevoz
The volunteers will live together in a fully equipped flat located only 5 minutes on foot from the INEX Slovakia office, where the project activities will take place. The flat is situated in a convenient area, approximately 30 minutes’ walk from the city centre, with shops, public transport and other important institutions nearby. The accommodation includes laundry facilities and a fully equipped kitchen. Each volunteer will have their own private room. At the beginning of each month, volunteers will receive money for food together with their pocket money. They will manage the budget independently and will be responsible for buying and preparing their own meals.
Usposabljanje med dejavnostjo
Volunteers will participate in the On-arrival and Mid-term training organised by the Slovak National Agency, which will provide them with an opportunity to meet other ESC volunteers, reflect on their experience and develop their personal and professional competences. In addition, ESC volunteers will take part in our educational programme focused on volunteer management in a multicultural environment “Step Up and Lead” and “Lead It Up”. They will learn practical skills needed when working with volunteers from different cultural and social backgrounds. Their involvement will be adapted to their abilities, previous experience, interests and skills. Through these activities, volunteers will gain practical experience in teamwork, leadership, communication, intercultural learning, organisation and volunteer management. They will also have opportunities to share their own knowledge and ideas and to actively contribute to the learning of other participants.
