Become a volunteer at the Effatha Socio-Therapeutic Workshop in Krnov, where adults with mental and multiple disabilities engage in activities to develop work habits and social skills, fostering greater independence. Activities: Volunteers will support participants in creating items like gifts, decorative pieces, and ceramics. You'll assist in therapeutic sessions focused on pottery, encaustic art, candle-making, soap-making, and textile projects. Additionally, you'll accompany users during gardening, cooking, memory training, and relaxation exercises. Your responsibilities include preparing materials and workspaces, scheduling activities, and collaborating with social workers. Join us in making a difference! When working with people in general, and especially with individuals with disabilities, it’s crucial to maintain a smile and a friendly demeanor. Additionally, being proactive and willing to learn the Czech language is important.
