Before arrival, volunteers will receive online preparation about the organisation, the project, their roles and life in Athens. The first weeks will focus on practical preparation through workshops, energisers, team-building and creative activities. Volunteers will simulate activities they will later implement with children and adolescents, learn to design activities based on their needs, and use reflection tools throughout their service. Professionals from the Network for Children’s Rights will also provide workshops on child safeguarding, PSEA and relevant organisational policies.
