Anffas Sibillini Aps is a social promotion association founded in 2013 and located in a mountain municipality near the Sibillini Mountains. It supports people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as individuals experiencing relational and social difficulties. The association promotes inclusion, autonomy, and active participation through recreational, sports, and training activities, as well as preparatory programs for supported employment and the development of an educational garden. It welcomes school groups and elderly participants, manages a dedicated space called WOW, and takes part in markets, public events, and fundraising initiatives. Volunteer involvement is central to its mission: direct interaction greatly enriches the experiences offered and fosters meaningful relationships. Volunteers find a welcoming environment where they can engage with disability, explore new activities, and develop personal and interpersonal skills.
Nastanitev, prehrana in prevoz
Your accommodation will be one of the wooden houses located next to the main building. It consists of: an entrance hall/kitchen/living room with a sofa, a bedroom with two single beds, a bathroom with a shower, and a utility room with a washing machine and space for electrical appliances.The house is directly across from the "Casa nel cuore," the facility where activities take place and where you'll find people who can offer guidance and welcome you. We will also provide an allowance for shopping and food and pocket money for personal expenses. The travel expenses will be refunded.

Pre-departure training for cross-border activities, guaranteed by participating organizations; - Training on arrival, guaranteed by national agency; - Intermediate evaluation guaranteed by national agency; Furthermore, the association provides all the learning support for the everyday activities, and also Italian classes, besides OLS (online language support) given by the European Commission
Profil udeleženca
We are looking for 2 volunteers. The ideal volunteer should be a person that feels like to work with disabled people, youngsters, and elderly, every day. We search for a person that fits in the values of the Cana nel Cuore like tolerance, interculturality, participation, democracy, and teamwork. The typical profile of the volunteer: - be open-minded with a positive attitude; - flexibility to adapt to possible changes - initiative, creativity, and respect to others and to different ideas; - motivated to work with people; - determined to learn more - communicative
