Športni in mladinski center Piran, Mladinski EPI center Piran is a youth center, established by the municipality of Piran. The center operates in two locations - in Piran and in Lucija. The youth center aims to provide young people living or going to school in the Municipality of Piran with the following: - a safe place where they can spend their free time - organized extracurricular activities (theatre, language clubs, arts etc.) - support and guidance - help with homework and studying - international youth exchanges - volunteering opportunities - career orientation activities and more Both youth centers are open from Monday to Friday in the afternoon (except on public holidays). During the summer (and other holidays), we organize activities for children aged 6 to 10 years old in the form of a "day camp". The youth that we usually work with are between 10 and 19 years old, but with different projects we try to involve all young people up to the age of 29.

Majutus, toitlustus, transport

Working days will be from Monday to Friday, for around 6 hours per day, mostly in the afternoon (1pm -7pm). Evenings and weekends will be free. In the summer, working hours will be between 9 am and 3 pm. The volunteers will have an opportunity to take some working days off. In the period of 4 working weeks, there are 2 free days available. Each volutnteer will receive monthly pocket money to the amount of 4 EUR per day and an additional 170 EUR per month for food expenses. The volunteers will live in a student residence in Portorož that functions as a hostel in the summer.

The volunteer will be able to participate in all the activities held at the youth center that will suit his or her wishes and needs. For the implementation of individual activities, the volunteer will be provided with training and help from the staff and local volunteers. YOUTH WORKER: Highly motivated young people that would like to work with young people (aged 7 - 29), and would like to help in creating the daily programme of our youth center (socialising with users, leading a language club, planning smaller events, promoting international projects …). PROJECT MANAGER / SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER: Highly motivated young people with an interest in gaining some project and event organization skills, interest in graphic design, video, photography, web publication and willing to work with young people.
