Beskrivelse af organisationen

Europe4Youth Association has been established in order to create the platform for young people for participation in civil society on the local, national and European level, to broaden their horizons and to help in their self-development by enabling them to participate in national and international youth projects, and also encouraging them to organising such projects by themselves.
This is why we organise and participate in youth exchanges, especially in international environment of participants from European Union countries, as well as from partner countries, we organise training courses, meetings, seminars and workshops for youth, as well as social, cultural and information campaigns; we prepare cultural events including exhibitions, concerts and workshops. We cooperate with domestic and foreign non-governmental organisations in addition to local authorities. We take part in Structural Dialog and European Youth Policy. In 2012 our association has expanded the area of activity, and together with German organisation Fahrten-Ferne-Abenteuer we have created our unit in Berlin: Europe4Youth Deutschland.

Vision
The vision of the Europe4Youth Association is European civil society based on conscious participation of young people in political, social and cultural life on local, national and international level. We want our society to consist of active, self-aware, and self-organising citizens. This is why we take part in Structural Dialog on national and European level, we organise meeting aiming for shaping in youth proper attitudes, activating them, and making them aware of social and political problems of uniting Europe.
Mission
Our mission is creating for young people the possibilities for action and self-realisation, supporting the process of lifelong learning, non formal and formal learning on local, national and European level. We can achieve it by enabling young people to have an influence on the Youth Policy on all levels, to be active, objectified, and to develop in young people key competences, as well as to increase the recognition of those competences.
Statutory Objectives
• Organising and promoting events about intercultural and historical education of European youth.
• Promoting European values – especially respect for human dignity, freedom and education.
• Undertaking initiatives for peace, tolerance and agreement intended to consolidating an active attitude of European citizen.
• Promoting and organisation of volunteering, especially international one.
• Popularisation of the rules of self-development and learning using Non Formal Education methods.
• Building the bridges of understanding among youth from EU member states and partner countries by joint international activities.
• Cooperation with national and local authorities, as well as other NGOs in order to achieve statutory objectives
