Egitim Programlari ve Evrensel ve Kulturel Aktiviteler Dernegi was established in Sinop in 2012 for the purpose of creating and developing cultural and educational programs for the disadvantaged young people and women. We are a non-governmental and non-profit organisation. We are active in the field of ecology, contemporary art, entrepreneurship, local handicrafts, youth programs and volunteering. We provide non-formal education for the young people in our town and abroad in a multi-cultural atmosphere with youth exchanges, training courses, seminars, workshops, etc. to empower their personal, social and occupational development. We were accredited for sending and hosting for the European Voluntary Service in 2012. Since then we have been hosting and sending a lot of young people as volunteers. The volunteers who come to our organisation help menatlly and physically disabled people for their needs. We also organize student exchange programs for teens with different countries from all around the world to meet their peers and learn each other's education systems. We raise awareness on animal rights. For this reason, we provide volunteering activities with our youth and women to make products to be sold in the sales in favor of the homeless cats and dogs. We provide young volunteers for Sinopale – the International Sinop Biennial - to assist the artists and curators for their performances.
