The kindergarten started operating on May 11, 1961 as Tallinn 70th Kindergarten. On June 5, 1990, the number was replaced by the current name Tallinn Mutionu Kindergarten. There are 4 groups in Tallinn Mutionu Kindergarten: Murumunad, Mürakarud, Rõõmurullid and Tähepüüdjad. There are children aged 2 - 7 in Tallinn Mutionu Kindergarten.
