Beskrivelse af organisationen

L’Institution St Joseph fait partie de l’association ADELE DE GLAUBITZ. A travers ses établissements répartis sur le territoire alsacien (Strasbourg, Still, Colmar, Wintzenheim, Cernay,
Oderen et Grendelbruch), l’association est engagée dans quatre principaux domaines d’activité :
• Les jeunes en difficulté sociale et familiale
• Les enfants et adultes handicapés mentaux
• Les personnes atteintes d’un handicap sensoriel
• Les personnes âgées malades et dépendantes
L’institution Saint-Joseph est agréée Maison d’enfants à caractère social (MECS) pour l’accueil de 50 enfants mais aussi des adolescents de 3 à 18 ans en difficultés sociales et familiales, et placés par l’Aide Sociale à l’enfance, avec ou sans ordonnance du Juge des Enfants.
C'est un lieu de vie temporaire, où chaque jeune va pouvoir grandir et s’épanouir à distance des difficultés sociales qui ont motivé son placement.

Oderen and Grendelbruch), the organization works in four important fields of activity :
• Young people in social and family difficulties
• Children and adults with mental handicap
• Persons with sensitive handicap
• Elderly persons who are ill and dependent
The "Institution St Joseph" is accredited "Maison d'Enfants à Caractère Social (MECS) " to host 50 children and teenagers from 3 to 18 years old in social and familial difficulties.
It is a temporary host place, where each young can grow and open up afar from difficulties which have motivated his placement.
