Beskrivning av organisationen

The Governorship of Sinop is the main public office which governs the all public directorates and institutions in the 8 provinces of Sinop besides the center town. There are around 204.000 people living in the province of Sinop. Within our structure, there are Directorate of Population and Nationality, Directorate of Social Studies and Project Management, Directorate of Associations, Directorate of Planning Coordination, Directorate of Migration Management, Directorate of Correspondence, Directorate of Management Board, Directorate of Local Administration, Directorate of Press and Public Relations, Directorate of Executive Assitance, Directorate of Legal Affairs, Directorate of Administrative Service, Directorate of Information Operations, Directorate of 112 Emergency Call Center and the Office of EU and Foreign Affairs. The Governorship of Sinop also governs the Foundation of Social Assistance and Solidarity, Directorate of Disaster and Emergency, Police Department, Exclusive Rural Administration, Gendarme Commandery, Directorate of Social Services and Child Protection Agency, Directorate of Environment and Forestry, Harbor Authority, Directorate of Science, Industry and Trade, Directorate of Culture and Tourism, Meteorology, the Agency of Post and Telegraph, Land Registry, and Administration of Religion Affairs.
Our missions are to publicize and implement Constitution of the Republic of Turkey, Law, the regulations and Governmental decisions, conduct the orders and the instructions of the Ministry of Interior, take necessary measures for performing our tasks, coordinate and supervise the general administration and the state affairs, prevent crime, take precautions to safeguard the public order and security in order to deliver the public welfare and happiness and ensure human rights and fundamental rights for each individual within the framework of Ataturk's principals, rule of Law, democratic, secular and social state of Law.
