Casa de Juventud Aleste is a non-profit organization which, since its foundation in 1995, develops socio-educational leisure and free-time programs and activities addressed to CHILDREN, YOUTH and ADULTS from the city of Valladolid, especially to groups who are at risk of social exclusion. Our goals are: -To carry out community development projects through sociocultural animation programs and socioeducational intervention. -To present services to the youth: information, resources, free-time and educational activities. -To boost social and educational volunteering for the youth and its specific training. -To ensure a comprehensive training for the youth through educational work during the free time. -To facilitate social and professional inclusion of the youth. -To promote health adn environmental education, road safety education, associationism and sport activity among young people. -To promote projects that allow to overcome the causes that create social exclusion: family breakdown, academic failure, rejection of ethnical minorities and immigrants, discrimination against women, alienating free-time experiences such as alcohol or drugs abuse, mistreatment, sexual abuse, intolerance and racism. The different programs we carry out, briefly described, are the following: -Social Intervention Program with minors and for the prevention of youth marginality: academic support activities for socialization and prevention, for social abilities with minors referred by social service.
