Beskrivelse af organisationen

The Kulturlabor Stromboli is a cultural institution in Hall in Tirol, a small town in the heart of the Alps. It was first established in 1989 with the aim of creating a venue for a needed cultural revival of the area. Nowadays, it is one of the most diversified and prominent cultural centers in the region, hosting over 100 events throughout the year. The 130-150 events per year in the fields of music, theatre, cabarets, literature, DJ parties, media art and children's culture ensure a continuous stimulation of Hall's cultural scene and the region.
Our main goal is to offer cultural options and alternatives for people of all ages and backgrounds while providing a platform for local and national artists, professionals and young talents.
Another of our priorities is to raise children's awareness and interest in art and culture, which we try to achieve through our children's programme and through many projects we organise in cooperation with local schools. We also try to make a positive impact on immigrant communities by organising monthly dinners with refugees to celebrate the culture of their countries, or by organising plays in different languages, for example, so that they can be seen and appreciated by a more diverse audience. Innovation and trying out new ideas is the motto of our organisation, which offers endless possibilities and new cultural adventures.
