Opis organizacije

Loimaa city youth services work at municipality and regional level. At the municipality level we offer youngsters youth houses, camps, concerts, trips, happenings, Youth Council, girl & boy groups. On a regional level we offer services for unemployed youngsters, workshops, music and writing training etc in cooperation with other municipalities or organisations. In Loimaa youth services there are only three (3) youth leaders and the secretary of youth affairs. Loimaa youth services takes part in different projects both locally and regionally. Loimaa youth work has co-operation with different associations focused on working with children and young people, for example theatre, sports organisations, scouts etc. Municipality level, versatile youth work done by the personnel of youth services and in cooperation with other organisations. Loimaa youth services staff has a lot of experience and expertise in the field of youth work both locally and regionally. Loimaa has coordinated three EVS projects 2013-2019 and runs a three year ESC volunteering partnership 2019-2021. During these projects we have hosted 18 long term volunteers in Loimaa and supported 3 volunteers. We have created a well-working cooperation with our local partner Loimaa theatre and our foreign partner organisations from our previous projects (France, Austria, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Spain). With these organisations we have grown to organise projects and learned that we share the same values and ideology behind volunteering. At the moment we recruit volunteers in the Pass, and they are connected with different organisations. We feel that it's good to have previous experience from cooperation to be able to communicate and welcome new partners to our network.
