Opis organizacije

Lapua youth department is part of the organization of the City of Lapua's educational activities. Our goal is to help young people and develop their living conditions, often in cooperation with youth associations. The main place of our operations is the Youth House in the city center, where the city's youth office, youth facilities and other hobby facilities are located. We organize camps and events, as well as other leisure activities as well as youth information and counseling service. Youth work also maintains outreach youth work. All our activities are based on the Youth Act. International and multicultural work has always been strong in Lapua, our main target group is young people over 13 years of age.

One of the goals of youth work is to promote a healthy lifestyle without intoxicants. This work includes close links with local schools and youth organizations. Achieving this goal is based on community, inclusion, justice and equality, multiculturalism and internationality, healthy lifestyles and respect for life and the environment.
