Cur síos ar an eagraíocht

Kremenchuk informative-elucidative center “European Club” was founded in December 2008 as a non-governmental, non-profit organization.
The main mission of our organization it’s forming society which will be based on European democratic values. Main fields in which we are work are education (promotion of European democratic values), human rights and anticorruption.
From 2013 we are develop project “Space of ideas”. It’s a name of special space for people – “third place” and alternative youth centre. And our main activities for now which happened every week: cinema evenings, foreign languages speaking clubs (English, Polish, German, Italian), evening with table games and course of photoshooting from professional photographer.
From times to times we also host different workshops: drawings, acting, handicraft, making mask from gypsum, presentations, living libraries and concerts.
Also we work with school euroclubs (informal groups in secondary school): provide advices about study opportunities abroad and planning activities, involve their members and curators in our projects and activities.
Our main target group is youth, which we can characterized like:
• young leaders among students of secondary school (mostly they are members of school euroclubs);
• students of university, who because of their lack of opportunities (educational, cultural, geographical, social) and historical circumstances could not get competence in intercultural development and activity;
• university graduates who got a job at the factory, they working for all week and urgent need self-development;
• protest youth who is searching for suitable subcultures for them, or situated on the way of departure from them;
• potential activists;
• youth 18-30 who eager to learn, travel, participate in international opportunities from Erasmus+ Program.
But we work with all citizens who interested in development democratic values in our society:
• boring intellectuals over 35 years who want to change themselves and ready to makes changes in society;
• workers and clients of cultural institutions;
• school teachers and administartions.
There are three startegic aims of European club:
- Integration of local youth to Europe and world through different mobility projects;
- Development of human rights through educational projects;
- Creation of environment for forming/development/practising civic competences.
