Sozialwerk Schwarzwald e.V. is a non-profit-organisation, which is responsible for the retirement home St. Antonius, which is located in Triberg, Black Forest in Germany. St. Antonius is an institution, which wants to take care of the Elderly as its best. The retirement home is located in the heart of the small city of Triberg, because the Elderly shall be in the main focus of the local people. Sozialwerk Schwarzwald e.V. is a non-profit-organisation, but works with its ressources efficiently. The staff of the St. Antonius is international, so the institution is open-minded towards projects of the European Solidarity Corps. All acitivities taking place in the St. Anonius, are orientated in creating a friendly and positive athmosphere for the Elderly and the staff and so also for the potential volunteers, who would take part in different acitivities, if the institution would be accredated. Target groups are also the relatives and families of the Elderly, which shall be also involved in all activities. Also the people of Triberg are involved in activities taking place there all over the year. So children of different kindergartens are visiting also the institution, as well as local clubs and local initiatives. Volunteers of the European Solidarity Corps took part in activities in the St. Antonius over the last years and gained a lot of positve experiences on different fields of learning.
