Beskrivelse af organisationen

Blyan za romantika, cvetya i kosmos /Dream of romance, flowers and space/ association was established in April 2012 in the city of Sliven, Bulgaria. Since this moment we work with young people from the region to create more opportunities for their personal development, citizen awareness, study and free time. The methods that we use in our work are based on the non formal education as a methodology that reaches the young people easily and opens them for the long life learning process. Since 2013 we work actively with volunteers and EVS under "Youth in Action" and "ERASMUS +" programs in the fields of media, entrepreneurship, culture, ecology, free time. Later we have had implemented and we still implement several European Solidarity Corps projects with volunteers from different EU and neighboring countries. With our development as an organization for the last three years we have added new cities in our volunteering network, so that at the moment we implement ESC projects in the cities of Sliven and Veliko Tarnovo.
Our main target group are young people between 15 - 29 years old. The main activities we implement with the support of local and EVS volunteers are: Traveling cinema; Making an on line radio forum, video reports and short documentaries on topics common to the young people and intercultural exchange on our media platform - e-volution.media; "Crumbs theater" - social work as improvised puppet theater with people from different age with flour; Organizing ecology trainings and events; Organizing cultural events and exibitions; music festival. Up to that moment we have successfully finished 8 projects as a hosting organization and currently we implement another two.
We believe that voluntary work develops solidarity, indеpendеnce, abilities for team work, creativity potential, intercultural experience and voluntarism is part of the European values. In this way EVS before and European Solidarity Corps at the moment is a great tool for reaching these values and gives the young people chance to explore and be in community service. On other hand the other main idea of the program - knowledge, skills and attitude to be gained from the young people in non formal way is a best option for a personal development in the contemporary society.
