Beskrivning av organisationen

Stichting Stem in de Stad is an organization for homeless and lonely people. We offer a day-shelter and couselling. We also provide free meals to our clients three times a wee. The organization also supports people with several financial problems in how to cope and to find a better way in spending money. Stem in de Stad also has a so-called 'world-house' for asylum seekers and illegal persons. Here the quests can get different kinds of practical lessons for instance language lessons to learn the Dutch language and lessons in developing computerskills. Because we are a Christian organization we also support our quests with pastoral support if they want.

Organisationen tar emot volontärer som av olika skäl har svårare att delta i olika aktiviteter. Det gäller följande kategorier och projekt:
