Beskrivelse af organisationen

Võru Youth Center (Võru Noortekeskus) is located in the South-Estonia. The youth center is opened from Monday to Friday 12:00-19:00 and it is located in the center of the city. The aim of the youth center is to offer leisure and developmental activities for young people aged 7-26. On average, the people who are visiting our youth center are usually between 9-16 years old. Every day there are four people in the house: two youth workers, one supporter and manager. People come to the Võru Youth Center mainly from the Võru City but also from to Võru County. In the center there are weekly cooking classes, where youngsters can learn how to cook, how to follow the recipe or how to create menu and the shopping list. Weekly there are also handicraft classes, where people can great something within their own hand and also the most important thing in youth center is relaxing. There are also many games starting with table tennis, table hockey, billiard and many other board games. Currently a therapy room is completed by the end of the year during a construction. In the youth center there does not matter where are you coming or what is your background- everybody is welcome there with no fee, because Võru Youth Center is financed by Võru municipality and from different projects.
