Opis organizacije

Isla CreActiva is a Sociocultural Association that promotes the social participation of young people locally and internationally as part of active citizenship. Our goal is to promote tolerance between people from different cultures and knowledge and respect for the environment in which we live.

The association is mainly made up of young people from the island of Tenerife, and most of us, in turn, are linked to other local volunteer entities, so therefor that our association acts as a promoter and coordinator of the ideas and initiatives of our partners and from other youth groups, locally and internationally. In this sense, we facilitate the participation of young people and local organizations in international projects such as youth exchanges, seminars, the European Solidarity Corps and other initiatives.

Our main fields of action are, on the one hand, education in values for and intercultural learning and respect, and on the other hand, environmental education in a broad sense, with the aim of sharing and developing sustainable development habits in our community. Both lines of action are based on learning and personal development as a way to improve the community in which we live through knowing and developing our education in personal values.
