Bandırma is a city with a population of 150000 people including 15000 university students. Bandırma hosts the International Bird Paradise Culture and Tourism Festival annually since 1990. Bandirma Municipality European Voluntary Service Office aims to provide opportunities
for the youth in the region to have a life experience abroad and be a pioneer in volunteer projects as the only accredited organization in the Balikesir Province.
