Rae Youth Center is a place where 7-26-years old young people are expected. Rae Youth Center is the legal name, what includes five youth centers: Jüri, Järveküla, Lagedi, Vaida and Peetri. Young people`s own initiative and cooperation is supported at youth center.
A variety of exciting and educational activities are carried out together with young people. The aim of Rae Youth Centre through activities and services offered is to support young people`s development, develop values and healthy attitudes. It is important to support young people`s capacity to critically analyze the world around them and to enrich the experiences of a young person`s worldview through experience acquired through activities and interaction.
Open facilities of the youth center allow young people to spend their free time using means such as the billiards, table tennis, board games, Xbox, stereo system for listening to music, TV and DVD player for watching movies, photo cameras, computers and a video projector free of charge.
Regurarly take place at the youth center movie nights, arts and crafts workshops, media clubs. The youth center organizes competitions for different sports games and dancing so young people could test their skills and courage, and know how to win and lose with grace and dignity.
In order to support the entrepreneurship of young people, they have the opportunity to write and implement projects for some event or contest at the youth center. Every year youth center and municipality are organizing entrepreneurship camp and the goal is that young people themselves are writing a project.

Every summer the center organizes a work camp where 160 young people from Rae get a summer job. Besides the work camp, a summer day camp of the youth center takes place. The priorities of the latter are different every year.
