The name of our university, which was established as Ağrı Mountain University with the law numbered 5662 and dated 17.05.2007, was changed as Ağrı İbrahim Çeçen University with the law numbered 5773 and entered into force after being published in the Official Gazette dated 28.06.2008 and numbered 26920. Faculties: Faculty of Education-Faculty of Arts and Sciences-Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences-Faculty of Pharmacy-Faculty of Medicine-Faculty of Islamic Sciences-Patnos Sultan Alparslan Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences: -Doğubayazıt Faculty of Human and Social Sciences. The university, which stands out with its scientific identity in the national and international arena, integrates with the city, produces regional solutions, contributes to socio-economic life with qualified projects, provides academic, social and social benefit areas especially to young people aged 18-30.
